Q: What is Turkey Rock Ranch?
A: Turkey Rock Ranch Estates is a covenant controlled community in
Teller County, Colorado. There are about 75 homes on about 300 lots
that are .75 - 2 acres in size. Homes include year-round
residences and vacation cabins.
Q: What is TRRA?
A: Turkey Rock Recreation Association (TRRA) is a non-profit entity
that takes care of the commons areas and the fishing ponds.
This includes stocking the ponds with fish, maintaining the dams,
maintaining the golf course and other common areas. Membership
is voluntary, but highly recommended. The efforts of TRRA
increase the value of the property and the enjoyment of Turkey Rock
property owners.
Q: Can I fish in
the ponds?
A: The ponds are stocked each year by volunteer members of TRRA.
Fishing dues are collected by TRRA and 100% of the money is used to
buy fish. TRRA members who pay the fishing dues are each given
five fishing badges. Fishing is allowed by TRRA members and
guests who display the badges. Limits and rules are posted at the
ponds. Adults must have a state fishing license to legally
fish.
